Harrogate's strengths:
Harrogate International Centre can host events of all kinds, from private parties,
to international conferences and exhibitions. Entertainment shows run throughout
the year in the auditorium and the Royal Hall. Harrogate is known for its beautiful
flora and is a consistent winner in the Britain in Bloom competition. The Yorkshire
Dales are right on the doorstep.

- The Royal Hall re-opened in April 2008 after a £10.7m restoration programme.
