Corporates Catered for at Caphouse
The National Coal Mining Museum for England has announced its Conference facilities
are now even better, with the addition of yet more features for the corporate
market. Richard Saward, Commercial Director at the Museum said “since our conference
rooms opened in 2002, business has grown beyond all expectations and we are delighted
to be able to keep adding value for clients with further improvements and developments”.Amongst the new facilities is the introduction of modern technological capabilities
such as wi-fi and greatly enhanced mobile ‘phone reception. These allow businesses
to stay in touch with other colleagues and to access live information from the
internet. The conference rooms now also boast air-conditioning, as the Museum
continues to show commitment to making delegates’ comfort a priority.
Such is the growing popularity of the Museum as a conference venue, it is seeking
to expand its dedicated team. The team works with each individual booking, to
ensure that businesses’ needs are met through a huge range of flexible packages.
For example, the Caphouse suite can be divided into three individual rooms, in
order to suit groups from 30 to 200 and a whole host of impressive conference
equipment and menu options can also be arranged.
And where else could delegates unwind and finish the day by exploring the hidden
world of coal, 140 metres before the surface, with a former miner as their guide?
They might appreciate what a hard day at work was really like when they return
to the surface.
