Looking for a venue with a difference?

The Hepworth Wakefield, is Yorkshire’s exciting new art gallery and creative centre, located on Wakefield’s historic waterfront.  Designed by David Chipperfield architect - winner of RIBA Stirling Prize 2007 - the gallery will feature work by Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and other internationally significant artists.  Dame Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore were born and went to school in Wakefield and in nearby Castleford.  The Hepworth Wakefield will allow us the opportunity to celebrate this rich cultural heritage in a way that is appropriate to their achievements.

The Gallery will offer a stunning location to hold your social or business event.  Guests and delegates will enjoy a unique experience and be able to see works by famous artists, enjoy Wakefield and Yorkshire’s heritage, and relax in the informal spaces.  This will be supported by excellent visitor facilities including creative learning suite, the café serving delicious freshly prepared food, shop, dedicated car park and coach drop off. A new bridge over the River Calder will provide easy access from the gallery to the city centre, which is only a few minutes walk away.
