Incorporating an invigorating mix of old and new styles, Aldwark Manor is a great
place to stay close to York and Harrogate. Set in 100 acres of parkland on the
River Ure with its own golf course leisure centre and spa.
This splendid hotel has 55 bedrooms, split between traditional in the manor house and contemporary in the new wing. There is a choice of executive rooms and four-poster suites, all with the comfort and modern amenities one would expect from a four star hotel.
The two rosette restaurant offers the finest cuisine from a varied and exciting menu, complemented by an impressive selection of wines. For a more informal meal, may we suggest you try The Terrace, where a good selection of snacks and light meals with a range of beverages is available?

With a 19th century Manor House as its centrepiece, Aldwark Manor's golf course
fits nicely within its 120 acres of parkland and guests can enjoy a round or two
on our 18 hole par 72 course, which sits either side of the River Ure and includes
a feature hole with water hazards. With mature, rare trees creating a wonderful
atmosphere that can inspire and leave you with a feeling of tranquility.
All our guests are invited to enjoy our leisure facilities, which include a swimming
pool, gymnasium studio and power sports fitness suite. After you've worked up
a sweat, you can enjoy the drench showers, tropical mist fun shower, spa and steam
rooms.

Directions from this road: From the A1(M) take Junction 47 follow the A59 towards
York. After 3 miles turn left on to the B6265 and follow brown Aldwark Manor
signs. After 2.7 miles you will reach an intersection at Little Ouseburn, turn
right following the brown signs. After 0.3 miles you will reach a t-junction,
turn left. After crossing a hump back bridge turn right. At the toll £0.40p
is required to cross, after 100 yards turn left into Aldwark Manor.
Directions by Bus or Train:
Nearest bus or rail station: York
Directions from this station: Take A1036 from York station, bear right under
city wall then keep left. At traffic signals turn left (signposted inner ringroad).
Bear left on to A19, signposted Thirsk. At roundabout take third exit on to Shipton
Road (A19). Continue on through Skelton and Shipton by Beningbrough. Bear left
and continue forward on to Warehills Lane. Turn right on to Newton Road, continue
and enter Tollerton. Turn left on to Station Road, bear right on to Alne Road.
Turn left then turn right, signposted Aldwark. Toll of £0.40p. Then arrive at
Aldwark Manor.
Approximately, 15 miles and approx. £20 by taxi.
