About the Venue
Eureka! is the UK’s national centre for learning through play and provides an
inspiration location for a wide range of corporate bookings. Events can be held
in the Studio Theatre, the museum’s galleries, including the impressive ‘Town
Square, or in the beautifully refurbished 1855 Station Building.
The compact and versatile Studio Theatre – equipped with state of the art audio-visual
equipment – can seat up to 80 delegates and is ideal for smaller conferences,
training days, seminars and media launches. The prestigious and imposing 1855
Building, formerly Halifax’s train station and restored in 2002, has an impressive
‘Platform Conservatory’ - a room bathed in natural light which is perfect for
receptions, lunches and less formal engagements. Specific galleries or the entire
museum can be hired for product launches, evening receptions and corporate family
days.
As experts in making learning fun, Eureka!’s in-house education team can create
tailor-made teambuilding packages or deliver short sessions as part of your event.
A range of packages are available with prices starting at £26 per person plus
VAT. All packages include high quality catering by our in house team, free car
parking and a responsive personalised service.
Eureka! is a highly convenient venue, with over 500 free car parking spaces for business guests and excellent road and rail links to Leeds, Manchester, other northern cities and UK destinations.

Nearest main road: Eureka! is 6 miles from junction 24 of the M62.
Directions from this road: “From... the M62 at J24 for Halifax and follow the brown tourism signs on the
A629, which will bring you directly to Eureka!’s extensive on-site car park. Parking
is available to the front and rear of the museum and is free for corporate visitors.

Directions from this station: “From…Halifax Train Station, walk out of the station onto the station approach.
Steps down to the Eureka! site can be found approximately 10 meters from the station
exit on your left hand side. Follow this down to the lower level and follow the
yellow footpath to the museum entrance.
