About the Venue
Awarded gold for business tourism at the Enjoy England Awards in 2006, Magna
is now officially the best events venue in the UK and with a newly opened £2.7
million corporate, the centre now has even more possibilities when it comes to
what event organisers can achieve.
Magna's corporate team is highly experienced and committed to providing organisers
with an event that has a distinctive theme, style and atmosphere. The former
Templeborough steelworks already hosts a series of unique spaces including the
Big Hall and Magna Arena, a giant blank canvas that has dedicated kitchen and
service facilities and can be transformed into just about anything, including
conferences for 2500, dinners for a 1000 guests and concerts for 3500 people.
Magna also houses a multi-story, multi-media space in the Face of Steel, which
accommodates multiple video screens, wall to wall speakers and elevated walk ways.
Other areas include the pavilions Earth, Air, Fire and Water, which can also be
hired for private functions; as well as smaller meeting rooms ideal for training
sessions and seminars.
The new development includes a new 600sqm event space in the Red Hall, a new
glass fronted 150 seater restaurant with a terrace area ideal for dinners, events
and exhibitions, with amazing views over the rest of Magna which can also be used
in conjunction with the Big Hall as a welcoming area or VIP lounge; seven flexible
conference rooms for smaller meetings and presentations, that range in size from
theatre style for 125 people, caberet style for 70 and boardroom style for 40;
a new glazed walkway leading to the Big Hall; new in-house catering for all events;
and new service facilities for the Big Hall and Magna arena.
