About the Venue
Set in 40 acres of beautiful gardens bounded by the River Ure, Newby is a truly
unique setting in which to entertain your guests. The elegant 17th Century house with its exquisite Adam interiors provides an atmospheric venue.
Perfectly placed to cater for dinner, drinks party, conference or activity day
the House and grounds have much to offer.
In the House itself the State Gallery, Library, Ante Room and Entrance Hall all
interconnect meaning we are able to cater for a drinks receptions of up to 250
people, and the Stature Gallery and Regency Dining Room are also available for
dinners. For larger functions there is also the option of having a marquee in
the park or using the Grantham Room – a purpose built function room in the gardens.
Centrally located between London and Edinburgh, just 2 miles from the A1M Newby
is easily accessible from Leeds, York and Harrogate.
