About the Venue
The splendour of a castle, the quality of a world-class venue. Home of the Ingilby
family who have spent the past 700 years hosting monarchs to ministers, seminars
to celebrations.
It was one of the first stately homes to enter the corporate hospitality market
professionally. It is ideally situated just 3 miles north of Harrogate and has
easy access to road, rail and air transport links. You will find everything you
need to run a hugely successful event immediately to hand; top class facilities
including the spectacular and dramatic newly refurbished East Wing; superb ambience
and cuisine. We also offer an inclusive package which means you can relax in
the knowledge there will be no unexpected costs.
We enjoy the challenges that we are presented with: Ripley has hosted everything
from small seminars, meetings and team building events to a two-day meeting for
the World Trade Organisation, with ministers from Canada, Japan, the EU and America.
We have staged all manner of activities in the park, secreted a large number of
'murder victims' in the Castle and gardens, displayed a cornucopia of dream cars
on the Castle terrace and disguised the Halle Orchestra as waiters.
The venue may be ancient but the business ethos is impeccably modern which ensures
a perfect event every time. This fabulous setting is an ideal location for private
parties, dinners, weddings, product launches and conferences.
