About the Venue
Swinton Park is a luxury castle hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. With 30 bedrooms
and 5 meeting rooms, this is one of the highest rated hotels in Yorkshire and
Cumbria.
Traditionally furnished, guests enjoy all the warmth and comforts of a stately
home, whilst at the same time modern facilities such as WiFi access are available.
Modern British cuisine is served in the sumptuous dining room, with an emphasis
on produce sourced from the hotel's four acre walled garden and surrounding countryside.
There is also a sitting room and private dining room available for the exclusive
use of smaller groups.
Just 8 miles from the A1 and 50 minutes from Leeds and York, the castle is surrounded
by 200 acres of parkland, offering guests exclusive access to lakes, gardens and
woodland. A sense of peace and privacy pervades, and activities on offer include
golf, fishing, shooting, riding and falconry. There is also a spa with five treatment
rooms and a gym, and a cookery school run by the celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager
which is available for private groups for team building and incentive events.

From the A1 north of Ripon, take the B6267 signposted to Masham and Thirsk. Follow
the signs to Masham and after approx. 8 miles you will reach the town centre.
Continue through town past the town square. After the HSBC Bank, and the Co-Op
take a right hand turn on to Swinton Terrace. Follow this road for about 1 mile,
past the Golf Course and up the hill. The gatehouse and drive to the hotel is
on your right.

Nearest bus or rail station: Northallerton
Directions from this station: From Northallerton take the road to Bedale. Go
through Bedale and on to Masham. Once you reach the town centre continue through
the town past the town square. After the HSBC Bank and the Co-op, take a right
hand turn on to Swinton Terrace. Follow this road for about 1 mile, past the
golf course and up a hill. The gatehouse and drive to the hotel is on your right.
