The Deep in Hull (Green Tourism Business Schemes Gold Award and Enjoy England Silver Award for sustainable tourism) is home to over 3,500 fish including spectacular sharks and rays See Europe's deepest aquarium, containing 2.5 million litres of water and 87 tonnes of salt! Discover the story of the worlds oceans on a dramatic journey back in time and into the future. The Deep is ideal for large events as it is a blank canvas venue, allowing event organisers to use their imaginations to the full. They can either theme their own event or use the magnificent surroundings as a backdrop. Conference dinners, product launches, presentations, academic/scientific research events, wedding ceremonies and receptions are just a few of the events that can be held deep down amongst the sharks, or high above the ocean waves in the stunning glass observatory.
